Our Board consists of volunteers from predominantly business, education and community development sector. Board resolutions are endorsed by a quorum of the board and all strategic matters are tabled for board input. Finance committee meetings are held on a frequent basis to deal with project income statements, budgets, investments and our property portfolio.
Financial Management:
The financial operations of Uviwe Child & Youth Services take place within legislative frameworks regulating the NPO sector, as set out in: The Public Finance Management Act (PFMA); The Non Profit Organisations Act (NPO); and Income Tax and VAT Act - registration as a public benefit organisation. External auditors are appointed annually to do a thorough year end audit.
